About Us

DSC01514Samsara Sound Sculptures is a collective of handpan lovers interested in developing the art of building craft and sharing it to the world and beyond.
Samsara Sound Sculptures started with Denis’ Karpenko fascination with Handpan aka Hang. His interest started after a dozen experiments with gas bottles followed by his meeting with Fernando Lyra, a Portuguese musician based in Tallinn, Estonia. This meeting would change their lives into the queue of making the feel Sing. It took a year and thousands of hummer strikes till Denis managed to transform a sheet of metal into a satisfactory instrument. Nowadays with the aid of Fernando Denis crafts the Samsara Sound Sculptures in Tallinn pushing the boundaries of this new art and sharing it with the world.
